Hands on Training Program - Biopharmaceutical Product Development
Location
Institute of Chemical Technology Matunga, Mumbai 400019
Date
February 3-7,2020
We are pleased to inform you that the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (ICT), is conducting the 3rd Biosimilar Workshop from February 3-8, 2020.
Fully Sponsored Hands-on-Training Program for Biopharmaceutical Product Development under National Biopharma Mission
This specialized training program aims to establish a skill development platform for the development of Human Capital towards the Biopharmaceutical Start-up and Biopharmaceutical Industry. The workshop aims at providing a specific training program towards various aspects of biopharmaceutical product development, with renowned national and international industry experts, trainers and speakers, experimentation, and data interpretation. This hands-on training program will provide fully sponsored training along with accommodation for out-station participants for their best practical and theoretical knowledge either one of the four different modules-
1) Downstream Process, Purification, and Formulation- Downstream process purification and formulation are designed to introduce the principles of downstream techniques employed in the biopharmaceutical industry. Its application and recent technologies advances, knowledge of the operation maintenance, and troubleshooting of centrifuges, filtration systems, TFF systems, and chromatography systems.
2) Cell Line Development and Upstream Bioprocessing- Cell line development covers areas of cell culture, transfection, cell line development, clone selection, and upstream process development using theoretical and experimental strategy.
3) Biophysical Characterization of Biologics and Biosimilars- Biophysical characterization of biologics and biosimilars will help understand protein structure formulation development and late-stage formulation development of protein therapeutics.
4) Analyzing Critical Quality attributes using Mass Spectroscopy and Capillary Electrophoresis- Critical Quality Attributes of biologics and biosimilars highlights the understanding of PTMs and glycosylation process, factors affecting glycosylation, fundamentals of mass spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis, and data interpretation.
This program is designed to give participants the best experience with the necessary skill set required for the biopharmaceutical industry. We request participants to make the best out of this opportunity.
